Celta Vigo captain Borja Oubina has admitted it will be ‘special’ playing the first game at the new San Mames.
The Celestes are the opponents for Athletic Bilbao’s first match in their new home, and the midfielder has insisted it will be a great occasion.
“Playing at San Mames is always nice for any athlete,” he told a Press conference. “But playing at the new stadium will be special.
“We hope to play a good game and leave with good memories of the place.
“We don’t want to go back to Vigo with the feeling that we haven’t given our all. The best memories are when you get positive results, so we will go to San Mames looking for a win.
“I’m sure they’ll be more motivated because of the new stadium.”
