Espanyol boss Javier Aguirre has admitted he understands his side more than he did the last time they played Granada.
The Periquitos travel to Los Carmenes tomorrow morning to face El Grana, which was the first fixture the Mexican had as Espanyol Coach last season.
“We had had just one and a half training sessions,” he told a Press conference. “But now I have much more of an understanding.
“The team is strong mentally and is well-placed to have a good season.
“The important thing for us now is to keep on growing.”
