Alexis Sanchez has reflected on the confidence he feels he has at the moment, which is thanks to Barcelona Coach Tata Martino.
The forward has begun a third consecutive season on the books at the Camp Nou, despite difficulties in his previous years having led to initial speculation this summer that he would be sold.
In staying with the Catalans, the 24-year-old has reflected on his current mindset.
“The confidence for a player is everything,” commented Alexis this week to reporters.
“If there is confidence provided on the pitch, a player can do many things.
“I feel really good this year, very comfortable and confident.
“Tata Martino gives me an amazing confidence that allows me to be more free on the field.”
Alexis was talking ahead of his Chile side facing Spain tonight in a friendly in Geneva.
“I like to play every game, I am available to the Coach and I would like to play, despite the physical challenge. We are football players, we are here to play, whilst we will have to time rest.”
