Sami Khedira’s agent has reportedly denied last-minute rumours that the German international was considering his future at Real Madrid.
Reports by AS today had suggested that increased competition under Carlo Ancelotti from Casemiro had the 26-year-old unhappy enough to be weighing up his options on the final day of the transfer window.
However, Die Welt report that Khedira’s representative has made clear that this is only speculation and that the midfielder will be staying at the Santiago Bernabeu.
“Sami will remain at Real Madrid, just as we have always said,” Jorg Neubauer told the publication today.
Khedira is contract to Madrid through to June 2015.
