Real Betis boss Pepe Mel has lamented his side’s 0-0 draw with Espanyol, claiming it was an ‘ugly game’.
The Verdiblancos were held to a goalless draw with the Periquitos, and the Coach has claimed that his team did well.
“It was an ugly game,” he told a Press conference. “We did things well, but today we just couldn’t get a goal.
“We came here from two good results, but unfortunately it didn’t make a difference.
“Espanyol are a strong team, but we defended their set pieces well.”
