Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has confirmed that Gareth Bale will be signing for Real Madrid.
The Wales international has been constantly linked with a move to Santiago Bernabeu this summer, but only now has the Portuguese Coach revealed that the 24-year-old will leave for Los Blancos.
“He [Bale] is a wonderful player,” AVB told reporters. “He is going to join Real Madrid so we wish him all the best.
“He has left us with great memories.”
Whilst the two clubs have yet to confirm the transfer, it is expected that an official announcement will come later this evening or on Monday.
