Negotiations between Tottenham and Real Madrid for Gareth Bale’s transfer have reportedly stepped back up again.
Talks over a proposed world record move for the Welshman between the two clubs appeared to have stalled during this week, as relations apparently soured, with the player also choosing not to attend training with the London side.
However, it is believed in both England and Spain that steps are being taken to finalise terms of agreement in the transfer.
Bale is reported as having met with Tottenham officials today to sort out final details in severing his links with the Premier League side, whilst his agents have been pictured in Spain by AS as meeting with Madrid officials.
Both the Madrid publication and the BBC reiterate that the ‘formality’ of Bale agreeing personal terms on the deal is all but signed off on and the only thing remaining is for Madrid and Spurs to reach agreement on the fee and its instalments.
