Osasuna boss Jose Luis Mendilibar was criticised his side for a ‘lack of hunger’ as they lost to Athletic Bilbao.
The Rojillos went down 2-0 against Los Leones at Anoeta on Friday evening, and the Coach has claimed that his team played well, but were poor in front of goal.
“We did well throughout the game,” he told a Press conference.
“We had intensity and made our opponents work hard.
“It was just we lacked hunger to score.
“Nevertheless, I thought we did well and there are things we can take away.”
