Barcelona boss Tata Martino has insisted that the club will do all they can to win the Supercopa against Atletico Madrid.

The Blaugrana face the capital club in the first leg on Wednesday evening, and the Argentine Coach has claimed that it will not be an easy match.

“When you’re in charge of Barcelona, the expectations are always extremely high,” he told a Press conference.

“You always have to set out to win. We’ll try to win this trophy.

“It’s a match over 180 minutes and we have to approach it with that in mind.

“I’ve never experienced playing at eleven o’clock at night. But Barca aren’t going to stop playing well or trying to win because of that.”

Martino then commented on his substitution of Lionel Messi with 20 minutes to go against Levante at the weekend.

“He knows how it works. I’ll be careful enough not to substitute Messi five times in a row.

“It’s a relationship: you give something to me, I give something to you. You have to talk to each other.”
