Elche Coach Fran Escriba has claimed that his team are confident going into their opening Liga game of the season.
The Franjiverdes face Rayo Vallecano on Monday evening, and the 48-year-old has insisted that his players are raring to go.
“In the dressing room there is total confidence,” he told a Press conference. “We believe we can win the game tomorrow.
“We know this is the first division and that it will be tough, but we know we can compete against any side.
“We know Rayo will play the same way as they did last season.
“They have their style, and we will have to act against that.”
