Osasuna midfielder Emiliano Armenteros claims a win in the La Liga opener against Granada on Sunday is vital for Los Rojillos.
The Argentine has had a difficult pre-season due to a muscle injury he picked up, although Armenteros insists he is now in perfect condition for the clash with the Andalusians at El Sadar.
“I feel good about the injury and it doesn’t bother me, although physically I’m a bit behind the rest of my teammates as I began training a little later than the rest.
“However, I’ve been working hard to be fit for this Sunday. We believe we are ready for it but results will tell us whether we are a good or bad side.
“Personally, I think it’s vital that we get off to a winning start,” he told reporters.
