Athletic Bilbao boss Ernesto Valverde has admitted that Granada midfielder Mikel Rico could join the club.
The 28-year-old has been linked with a move to Los Leones this summer, and the Coach has confirmed that a deal may be reached.
“I do not like talking about players who are not here,” he told a Press conference.
“But what we have to do is enhance the squad that is already here.
“If the move is completed – great. If not then we have to move on and continue working.
“But my team have shown a commendable spirit so far.”
