Weligton breaks collarbone

Malaga defender Weligton will be out for two months after he broke his collarbone in Saturday’s loss to Aston Villa.

The Brazilian centre-back landed awkwardly at Villa Park yesterday, and the club have confirmed that the 33-year-old has broken his collarbone, and will be unavailable until at least October.

It is unclear what the next course of action may be, but El Desmarque believe that he may have to undergo surgery.
