Former Real Madrid defender Jonathan Woodgate has urged Gareth Bale to leave Tottenham and join Los Blancos.
The centre back played at Santiago Bernabeu for three season between 2004 and 2007, and has claimed that the Wales international will enjoy the Spanish experience.
“The first thing to do is to learn the language,” he told the Daily Mail. “That will help you communicate with your teammates better.
“It's okay to make mistakes – people will take it well.”
“[If Bale joins] he will form a line of terrifying attackers with Cristiano and Benzema.
“Gareth asked me one day what it was like in Spain, and I said it was an amazing experience.
“The Spanish League is the best.”
