Barcelona have reportedly made clear this week that forward Alexis Sanchez is ‘untransferable’ this summer.
The Chilean had been linked with a return to Serie A earlier this summer with Juventus and Inter said to be pressing, and recent reports now link Napoli with interest.
However, Vice-President Jose Maria Bartomeu is quoted by Chilean newspaper El Mercurio as listing the 24-year-old as ‘untransferable’ this summer.
Alexis has struggled for consistent bursts of form and fitness in his two years so far at Camp Nou and faces increased competition for places this term from Neymar.
The player, though, is reported as intent on staying with the Catalans, and intimated as much earlier this week to reporters.
