Former Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp believes Gareth Bale will stay at the north London club.
The Wales international has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer, but the English Coach has claimed that Spurs will want to keep their star asset.
“Spurs are within touching distance of becoming a Champions League club and Gareth has much to do with that,” he told reporters.
“I think he's very happy at the club and although there's a lot of speculation I really don't see him leaving.
“I don't think his departure is imminent. Real Madrid seems very confident but I can't see a club like Tottenham letting him go."
