Tito Vilanova will reportedly undergo surgery on Tuesday on the cancer that has forced him to step down as Barcelona Coach.
The 44-year-old was confirmed on Friday as having suffered a second relapse in his fight against the disease, that has originated on the parotid gland of his throat, was first diagnosed and treated in November 2011 and returned in December 2012.
La Vanguardia believe that the Coach, who has this time had to permanently step down from his duties at Barcelona, is set for surgery once more on the issue this Tuesday.
It will be the fourth surgical procedure for Vilanova since first being diagnosed with the disease and coincides with Barca making official the appointment of Gerardo Martino in his place.
