Atletico Madrid right-back Juanfran says Diego Simeone is the best Coach he has ever worked under.
The former Real Madrid, Espanyol and Osasuna player, who joined Los Rojiblancos in January 2011, maintained it is the way in which the Argentine puts his message across that makes him different from the rest.
“Simeone is the best Coach I’ve had because of the way he transmits things to the players. Then there is the manner in which he plans training sessions and how he prepares for the next match.
“He has a gift, which he also had as a player, and he is the best Coach we could have,” declared Juanfran in an interview with Mahou.
The Alicante-born 28-year-old is convinced that now Simeone has penned a new contract at the Vicente Calderon, Atleti will continue to enjoy success under him.
“Our dressing room is full of people who are committed to working, where everyone runs and helps the rest.
“For example, the preparations for finals are incredible on a personal and professional level, both individually and collectively.
“We’ve won a lot of titles with him and we’ll carry on doing that in the future.”
