Real Sociedad are reportedly ready to tie up a deal for Barcelona’s Jonathan dos Santos this week, with negotiations already described as ‘advanced’.
The 23-year-old midfielder was paired with a move to Anoeta over the weekend, to act as an immediate replacement for Asier Illarramendi, after his move to Real Madrid.
Mundo Deportivo believe today that the San Sebastian outfit are already in advanced talks with both the player and with Barca over a proposed move.
It is seen that negotiations are so far forward that a deal could be concluded as soon as the end of this week, and may prevent Dos Santos from training with his peers at Barca, as otherwise expected from tomorrow’s first session.
However, one aspect that may slow down the move is Dos Santos’ apparent desire not to move outright to La Real, as rumoured in a €3m deal, but to have an option to return to the Camp Nou, should he impress enough.
