Reports in England are that Tottenham Hotspur are ready to come back in with interest for Valencia striker Roberto Soldado.
The Spain international has been previously linked with a move to the North London club, and is widely believed to have turned down an offer just last summer, in favour of signing a new contract at Mestalla.
However, the Daily Star report that Spurs are set to come back in this transfer window with a €20m bid to test Los Che’s resolve.
It is believed that whilst the player has already received two offers from unnamed clubs this summer, President Amadeo Salvo is refusing to negotiate the player’s sale below his €30m buyout clause.
Marca say that Salvo has instructed Soldado’s agents of this position and the intention that he stays at Mestalla for next term.
