Valencia study new Soldado deal

Valencia have reportedly reacted to Roberto Soldado’s hint about his future by studying a possible contract renewal.

The forward, who signed a five-year contract to stay at the club only last summer, commented yesterday that ‘the door is always open’ to a possible exit from Mestalla.

Terra report that this has prompted an immediate reaction from Los Che officials and that they are now looking into ways to renew the 28-year-old’s contract further.

The club are reportedly going to initiate talks with Soldado upon his return from international duty at the Confederations Cup this June.

Soldado is already Valencia’s best paid player on a believed €2m salary that is €800,000 more than the amount most other first team players at the club reportedly exceed.
