Athletic Bilbao President Josu Urrutia met with Coach Marcelo Bielsa yesterday and is expected to meet again this evening to continue talks.
The Argentine is out of contract at the end of the month and is expected to leave after a disappointing second season in charge, with departed Valencia Coach Ernesto Valverde said to be coming in as his replacement.
However, Urrutia met with Bielsa yesterday and held talks for two hours and is expected after this evening’s farewell match at San Mames to hold another meeting with the Argentine.
