Barcelona are reportedly keeping tabs on Valencia’s Ernesto Valverde as an alternative to Tito Vilanova for next season.
Valverde’s contract with Los Che expires at the end of the season and he is not holding talks over a renewal until the club have elected in a new President in June.
Prompting continued links with former club Athletic Bilbao, the 49-year-old is also reportedly on Barcelona’s radar.
The Catalans are, according to Valencia-based Superdeporte, formulating a plan B for the summer involving Valverde.
In the case that current Coach Vilanova’s health does not allow him to continue at the Camp Nou, Barca will apparently target the Valencia Coach as his replacement.
