Tito Vilanova has insisted that the League 'has value' as the Bluagrana prepare to face Atletico Madrid with the possibility of claiming the title.

The Catalan club play the Rojiblancos at Vicente Calderon on Sunday, but could win the Liga crown without kicking a ball if Real Madrid lose to Espanyol.

But the Coach has warned that nothing has actually been won yet.

“I think the League has value,” he told a Press conference. “There have been times when it felt like the League was won a long time ago, but it was not.

“Madrid are having an exceptionally good end of season.

“How can it not have value when we're competing with the best Real Madrid team in history?

“Simeone is having a great season. He has some exceptional players.

“They will be motivated against us, that's for sure.”
