Tottenham are preparing to make an €8.5m bid for Barcelona striker David Villa, reports suggest.
The Daily Mail have revealed that the north London club will make a move for the Spain international, but their proposed offer is considerably less than the Blaugrana are after.
Andre Villas-Boas' team are willing to pay €8.5m, but Barca are hoping for at least €14m.
The 31-year-old has been heavily linked with a move away from Camp Nou, with the Premier League, seemingly, his preferred destination.
