Thiago Alcantara has claimed that Jose Mourinho's comments will be forgotten soon as Barcelona inch closer to the League title.
The Real Madrid boss has hit out at Iker Casillas and Pepe in recent weeks, but the midfielder has insisted that those remarks are not his concern.
“His words will be gone with the wind,” he told reporters. “Nobody will remember what he says in the future.
“These things happen in the football. I think everyone has to be respected.”
The youngster also commented on Sunday's match with Atletico Madrid and his future at the Blaugrana.
“It is never easy to play Atleti,” he continued. “They are a team that will play in the Champions League next season and are preparing for a Cup final.
“I am happy with the season that I have had.
“I had two injuries earlier in the season, but I've done okay since then.
“We have been focused on the League title. It is a competition we value.
“We have fought all year to win it.
“Last year it slipped away from us and this year we want it back.”
