Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas has revealed that Gareth Bale will still at the north London club if they can secure fourth place in the Premier League.
Spurs are currently fifth in the table, one point behind Chelsea in fourth with only five games of the season remaining.
And the Portuguese Coach has insisted that the Welsh winger, who has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid over the summer, will stay at White Hart Lane if they can make the Champions League.
“I think he will stay,” Villas-Boas told a Press conference. “That is the information I have from the club.
“The club is committed to keeping its best assets. That is the only way we can ensure that we will be among the top four every year.
“And Gareth is part of that project.
“Hopefully he can progress even further. Our ambition is to work with great players, and Gareth is a great player.
“I couldn't be happier.”
