Tito Vilanova will return to Press duties at Barcelona on Friday afternoon, to take his first conference since returning to the club.
The 44-year-old is reported as set to take Friday’s 3.30pm local time conference ahead of Barca’s trip out to Athletic Bilbao.
This will be his first appearance in front of the media since returning from two months in New York where he underwent chemotherapy and radiotherapy as part of his recovery from cancer that had returned at the end of 2012 to one of his salivary glands.
Vilanova has been back with the club since March and has been gradually re-integrating himself into running training sessions and holding the touchline for games, but until now Press conferences were still taken by assistant Jordi Roura.
However, on from yesterday’s 4-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in the Champions League semi-final first leg, the Coach will return to the media room.
