Valencia will sit down with Ernesto Valverde at the end of the season to discuss a new contract, reports have suggested.
AS have claimed that the Coach and the board met earlier this week, but it is believed that they will meet again next month to talk about the finer details of a new contract.
The 49-year-old was brought in mid-season to replace Mauricio Pellegrino, and has guided Los Che to fifth place in the League.
Valverde's current deal at Mestalla ends in June.
