Betis want Juanfran until 2017

Real Betis will hope to tie Real Madrid winger Juanfran to a four-year deal when he finally puts pen-to-paper at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old will leave Santiago Bernabeu in the summer, and join the Verdiblancos – however, the deal is purely a gentleman's agreement.

The attacker has yet to sign any paperwork, which means Pepe Mel's men are hoping to tie the former Getafe for an extra season that was originally proposed.

A contract until 2016 was initially reported on by several media outlets, but Estadio Deportivo have revealed that the Andalusian side will try to add another year on to the deal.

Juanfran has yet to make a first-team appearance for Los Blancos this term.
