New Valencia President in June

Valencia will vote in a new club President at a shareholders’ meeting to be held in June, it has been determined.

Los Che were hit with Manuel Llorente’s resignation at the end of last week, as his working relationship with majority shareholders Fundacio VCF appeared to break down.

A board meeting today has decided that Llorente’s replacement will be voted in during a shareholders’ meeting on June 4 and that in the interim Vicente Andreu will hold office.

Andreu comes in in place of Fernando Giner, who had held the position temporarily following Llorente’s departure.

The decision to vote for a new President at the end of the season, confirmed director Tarsilo Piles today, came at the express request of Fundacio VCF.
