Levante boss Juan Ignacio Martinez was pleased with his side 'for 85 minutes' after they went down to a 5-1 defeat against Real Madrid.
The Granotes took the lead at Santiago Bernenbeu, but conceded three goals in the last five minutes to slump to a resounding loss.
And the 48-year-old has claimed that his team took their foot off the gas in the final stages.
“We held our own for 85 minutes,” he told a Press conference. “It is always difficult at the Bernabeu, but when we scored we felt something positive [could happen].
“Without watching the game you could look at the result and think we didn't do well, but we stayed in the game until the final few minutes.”
