Philippe Montanier was 'satisfied' with his Real Sociedad team after they defeated Malaga on Saturday evening.
The Erreala defeated their closest rivals for fourth place 4-2 at the Anoeta, and the French Coach has admitted that it was an invaluable victory.
“We are satisfied with the result,” he told a Press conference. “We are pleased with the four goals, but it was a strange game.
“There were not that many chances for either team. We were efficient going forward and we are happy that we took our chances.
“It was a good result and 51 points is a good number.
“It is always important to win against a direct rival – Malaga are a high level team. We are very pleased to have got a four point advantage over them.”
