‘Mistakes against Madrid are goals’

Juan Ignacio Martinez has warned his Levante team to be careful in facing a Real Madrid side that ‘seem not to be there yet they beat you 3-0’.

Los Granotes make the trip out to the capital this Saturday evening for Week 30 of the La Liga campaign with their Coach more than aware of the dangers of feeling in control against Los Blancos.

“Against Madrid, an oversight, a mistake is not a chance for Madrid it is a goal, as was seen on Wednesday night,” Martinez commented.

“Madrid are blunt. Madrid seems not to be there yet they beat you 3-0. I will not continue about how good they are.

“On top of them already being good, telling them they are good will only make them believe they are better.”

Even so, JIM maintains a bit of confidence in his own side’s ability.

“We have unnerved them on previous occasions, they know it too. We will try to win, but Real Madrid have only drawn twice at home.

“Only Espanyol and Valencia have managed to take a point. The rest are home wins. It’s a stadium with history, but in the end it is still 11 against 11.”
