‘Mallorca trying to win every game’

Tomer Hemed has determined that Mallorca are working towards trying to win every game from now until the end of the season.

The island outfit head into Sunday’s clash with bottom-of-the-League Deportivo just two places above them in 18th and still two points adrift from safety.

“It’s an important game, as are all that remain for us in the final stage of the season,” commented Israeli striker Hemed this week.

“We must try to win every game and we are working every day to play well and to pick up points. Our fans can help us score points at home.

“The fans are very important to us. In the last match against Sevilla we were all very happy with their support.

“It is very important that everyone attends this Sunday to support Mallorca.”

Hemed returns to La Liga action after netting for his national team against Portugal last week.

“It is always good for me to score goals, and now I want to do so here with the team, to help them win games.

“The last few games, when I have entered the field, I have done everything that I could have. I scored against Granada and now I have scored with my national team.

“I hope now to continue to help Mallorca.”
