Tito Vilanova will reportedly begin work again with Barcelona on Friday afternoon, although his presence on the bench is still in doubt.
The Coach returned to Catalonia on Tuesday morning, after two months in New York receiving treatment for a second run of cancer on one of his salivary glands.
Originally thought to be attending Wednesday evening’s light session, the latest reports have it that the 44-year-old will begin his reintroduction into work by leading training this Friday.
Vilanova is speculated in Spain as set to take the 4.30pm local time session, but assistant Coach Jordi Roura is scheduled to take the Press conference that follows.
It is also not yet known if Vilanova will travel with the team to Balaidos on Saturday, to be on the bench for their League game against Celta Vigo.
