Atletico Madrid’s sporting director Jose Luiz Perez Caminero has been pictured having lunch with Real Valladolid attacker Patrick Ebert.
Ebert has impressed this term for Valladolid since a free transfer last summer after being released by Hertha Berlin.
Previously linked with Atletico, the attacking midfielder has already been reported as having been scouted more than once by Caminero.
Marca report that yesterday they found the player having lunch with Caminero, leading to speculation once more that he is discussing a possible summer move to the Vicente Calderon.
Ebert has a buyout clause of €8m, of which Valladolid would be due 65 per cent, with the remaining share actually due to the player himself.
The 26-year-old’s current deal with Valladolid also expires in June 2014, meaning that without an extension signed, he is likely to be sold this summer.
