Valencia have confirmed that they expect to have Roberto Soldado back to full training by the end of the week.
The striker suffered a sprained ankle in Los Che’s last League outing, Week 28’s 3-0 win over Real Betis and caused concern when his initial run of physiotherapy appeared not to reduce the discomfort.
However, after tests revealed only swelling to the joint, the player has returned to a particular recovery programme.
Following on from this, Valencia have confirmed today that they intend to have the striker back among the main group in training for Friday, with the idea of including him in the squad for Sunday night’s trip to Atletico Madrid.
