Atletico Madrid are in talks with online gambling company Bwin over a sponsorship deal for next season.
The capital club, who for half of this season have had a shirt sponsorship deal with Azerbaijan in place, are reported today as in advanced talks to sign a new sponsor for next season.
With the carrot of Champions League football to come for 2013-14, Atleti are said to be in talks with Bwin, with a view to them becoming the main sponsor for the campaign.
Los Colchoneros’ current deal with Azerbaijan is said to have carried a value of €12m to the club, who are seen as in need of raising finance before dipping into the summer transfer market.
Bwin are set to end their current deal with city rivals Real Madrid in June and have previously sponsored Milan.
