Pepe has conceded that Real Madrid did not start well against Mallorca yesterday, but praised their attitude in the second half.
Los Blancos came back from 2-1 down to defeat the Islanders 5-2 on Saturday at Santiago Bernabeu.
And the Portuguese defender has admitted that a lot of mistakes were made.
“We did not start the match well,” he told a Real Madrid TV. “They have had two good chances and scored twice.
“We have been suffering a lot from set pieces recently – we try our best but we are not as focused as we should be.
“When the team works together, everything is a lot easier. But in the end we did come together, and we won.”
