Marcelo Bielsa has admitted that his Athletic Bilbao side's 1-0 win over Osasuna was an 'absolute must'.
A second half Markel Susaeta strike was enough to give Los Leones the three points that takes them up to 14th in the table.
And the Argentine Coach has conceded that the victory gives them confidence going into the home straight of the campaign.
“Those three points were an absolute must for us,” he told a Press conference. “From a footballing point of view there are some things we have to look at.
“But in terms of confidence and mental strength this win was essential.
“It was a difficult match – a balanced one. But we did just enough.”
