Juanfran Torres has enthused at Atletico Madrid’s continued run of home wins in La Liga and promises that the team aim to keep it going.
Atleti’s 1-0 win over Espanyol on Sunday evening made it 13 consecutive League wins at the Vicente Calderon this season.
“We are delighted by the good run we are on at the Calderon. One of the key targets for this League season for us was to become stronger at home and we are getting there,” reflected Juanfran yesterday evening.
“People come to enjoy the Calderon and believing that their team will win and that is very positive for everyone. We are very happy. We will try to continue this streak.
“We had a couple of games where we were not at our level and I think we regained that now. The team is back stronger and more united than ever and all that speaks highly of the set-up.
“We have a great squad, with everyone working and committed and that’s most important.”
