Casillas: I’ll be back in a month

Real Madrid goalkeeper Iker Casillas has revealed that he will be back to full fitness in four weeks' time.

The Spain international had an operation on his thumb last month after being kicked by teammate Alvaro Arbeloa in the match against Valencia.

Los Blancos have since signed Diego Lopez from Sevilla as a replacement, but the 31-year-old has insisted he will be back in a month's time.

“I feel very positive,” he told reporters. “The doctor believes I only have another four weeks before I can return.

“I am starting to do some exercise and can no move my thumb.”
