A handful of Barcelona officials including sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta will reportedly fly out to New York this week to meet with Coach Tito Vilanova.
Vilanova is in the American east coast city undergoing treatment as part of his recovery from a relapse in his throat cancer.
Originally set to return to Spain last weekend, on the advice of doctors, Vilanova instead will remain in New York until the end of the month.
Otherwise keeping in contact with assistant Coach Jordi Roura through regular online meetings, Vilanova will reportedly meet with Zubizarreta, Miguel Rico, Narcis Julia and Albert Valentin this midweek face to face.
The quartet are understood as set to fly out to meet with Vilanova to take advantage of Barca’s break from play in the midweek.
It is seen that this meeting will be about various details concerning the current campaign, as well as to initiate plans for the next season.
Club President Sandro Rosell and Vice-President Josep Maria Bartomeu are also seen as likely to visit Vilanova over the course of the next month.
