Athletic Bilbao President Josu Urrutia reportedly pulled Fernando Llorente aside this week to warn him of his conduct, after a recent interview.
The striker, who is leaving the club this summer on a Bosman deal to join Juventus, criticised the board in an interview this weekend as being responsible for his exit from San Mames.
It is understood that in response to the interview given, Athletic President Urrutia met with the player to discuss some of the specific statements made by Llorente.
The meeting between the pair reportedly lasted 40 minutes and ended with Llorente being given a verbal warning for future conduct for breaking internal rules.
