Ernesto Valverde was enthused by Valencia’s performance in their 1-1 draw with Barcelona on Sunday night.
Los Che recorded the result just a couple of weeks on from a 0-5 reverse at home to Real Madrid.
“We are pleased with the performance that we put in,” Valverde responded to reporters after Week 22’s draw.
“It was a very intense game and it was not open in the first half, whilst it was slightly more open in the second, when it appeared that either team could have won.
“Today [Sunday] we saw a different Valencia, with great effort, pressure, recovery and attack. Around that we are happy.”
