Valencia boss Ernesto Valverde has denied reports that midfielder Ever Banega turned up to training drunk.
The 48-year-old however has rubbished those stories, but did admit that the former Boca Juniors man could be left out of the squad for the Barcelona game on Sunday.
“Ever arrived late for training, and that's it,” he told a Press conference. “When you arrive late at Valencia, you get fined.
“I talked to him before and after training, and everything is fine.
“I have more important things to worry about than this. But I do have to consider whether it is okay for him to play against Barcelona.”
