Real Betis boss Pepe Mel is optimistic his side can overcome their recent indifferent form and win at Rayo Vallecano this weekend.
The Verdiblancos lost their Copa del Rey quarter-final double-header with Atletico Madrid and also drew with Athletic Bilbao over the last three games.
But the 49-year-old is confident they can win at Campo de Futbol de Vallecas.
“Right now we have to weather the storm,” he told a Press conference. “Our goal is to win in Vallecas.
“I am confident because the players have been working well. We lost to Atletico Madrid [in the Copa] but that is not a drama.
“We have 35 points and are playing well. But we have not had much luck in recent games.
“Rayo are a team that does things in the right way – they play good football, and move from defence to attack very quickly. We have to be prepared.”
