Athletic Bilbao midfielder Markel Susaeta has revealed that the whole team are concerned with their recent form.
The San Mames side are currently 14th in La Liga, losing their last three games, and the 25-year-old has claimed that this season's slide is of concern.
“The whole team is working hard to try and get out of this,” he told AS. “But it is concerning that we haven't collected any points from the last three matches.
“The truth is yes, we are worried. After a bad first half of the season, we've only got 21 points. Now in the second half we have to work hard and try to get as many wins as possible.
“The last three games have really hurt us. The current situation is quite different to what we were expecting.
“If we are all together as a team however, I believe we can do well. That is the only solution.”
He also commented on the faith he has in Coach Marceo Bielsa.
“I see Bielsa suffering, but so are all the players. Three straight losses is very damaging, but with him in charge we can pull this off.
“The whole team is with him and we are convinced that we will do better.”
