Valencia Coach Ernesto Valverde has claimed that Saturday's match against Sevilla is key for their season.
Los Che host the Andalusian side at Mestalla this weekend looking for the three points that will take them into joint-seventh in the table.
And the 48-year-old tactician has admitted that the game is a must-win for his men.
“The Sevilla game is key for us,” he told a Press conference. “We have to try and beat them because come the end of the season they will be a direct rival of ours.
“I have no doubts that the match on Saturday is really important. If we want to reach the European places we have to win.
“They are a side that are capable of getting results at home and away. And although they may not be going through the best period, they have a team capable of being near the top.”
